What are the hours of the Customer Service Department?

Our Customer Service Department is open Monday - Friday,
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Central Standard Time.

 
Do you have a Spanish speaking representative available?

Yes, we do have a Spanish speaking representative available. Just ask the receptionist to connect you with a Spanish speaking representative.

 
What is the cash value of my policy?

Regular Whole Life policies and Interest Sensitive Whole Life policies do have a cash value after the second or third policy year. Term policies and Family Riders do not have cash value.

 
Can I take out a loan on my policy?

If the policy has a cash value, you can take out a loan against it. The interest rate on the policy is 8%, which is 1% higher than the current interest on the policy. The death benefit is reduced by the loan amount. Loan payments must be marked "loan payment", and are not included in the premium payments.

 
Can changes be made on a policy after is has been issued?

Generally not, however, in some cases it is possible. Please contact a Customer Service Representative to discuss any changes.

 
What if my premium is paid late? 

The policy has a 31 day grace period. The policy will not terminate if paid within the grace period. If your policy has enough cash value, and the automatic loan option has been selected on your application, we will automatically take a loan to cover the premiums after your premium
is 60 days past due.

 
If my premium is paid automatically from my bank account, and I need to close or change my account information, whom should I contact?

Contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-283-8840, and request direct bill option,or an authorization form to change the account
information.
